Abdur Rahman Muhammad
Abdur Rahman Muhammad (b. 1992) is a contemporary artist whose work draws inspiration from Western music culture – particularly rap – and its influence on the younger generation in Ghana. He is a member of the renowned Ghanaian art collective Artemartis.
Working primarily in oil, the artist focuses on stories of young people from his surroundings, often inspired by personal experiences. Muhammad’s works are held in private collections and have been exhibited in numerous shows around the world.
